Audubon Ohio: Clean Air for Ohio

Some in Congress are attempting to block the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from doing its job to protect public health. The EPA’s efforts to update clean air standards are crucial in order to limit emissions of millions of tons of harmful pollutants like mercury, soot, carbon dioxide and arsenic.   Strong clean air standards are important for our children, our families and our communities and will decrease the rate of asthma attacks, lung infections, cancer and illnesses.  Tell Congress to let the EPA do its job!

Make a call and urge our members of Congress to let the EPA do its job- put people ahead of polluters.

Contact Senator Sherrod Brown at 1-888-896-6446 and Senator Rob Portman at 1-800-205-6446. Tell them to oppose any effort to weaken the Clean Air Act or to delay or restrict EPA’s ability to protect our families from dangerous air pollutants like mercury, arsenic, lead, ozone smog, and carbon dioxide.
